ASPB Mid-Atlantic Section Winter Meeting

5:30 pm – 6:30 pm Seminar – Dr. Sally Mackenzie, ASPB President, “Investigating phenotypic plasticity and epigenetic change associated with circadian clock dysregulation in plants”
6:30 pm – 8:30 pm Buffet dinner
9:00 pm Adjourn

$5 Postdoc and student members
$15 Non-members

Driving and Parking Information

Directions to UMD and campus map
The Plant Sciences Building is #036 on the UMD campus map.

Parking
Parking is available in Regents Drive Garage (#202 on the UMD campus map), Lot Z1 or Lot 1b, Union Lane Garage (#179 on the UMD campus map), or Stadium Drive Garage (#218 on the UMD campus map).  Parking is free as long as you do not park in metered lots since it is on spring break and campus is closed.

From Route 1 / Baltimore Avenue to Regents Drive Garage

Turn onto Campus Drive (the main entrance to campus). At the traffic circle (where big M is), take the first right onto Regents Drive.  Take the first left turn onto Fieldhouse Drive. The Plant Sciences Building is on the left, and Regents Drive Garage is on the right.  Park anywhere inside the garage except the metered lots (marked with numbers on the floor).

From Route 1 / Baltimore Avenue to Parking Lot Z1/Lot 1b

Turn onto Campus Drive, continue straight through the large roundabout (the big M), and then continue through 2 stop signs.  As you pass Stamp Student Union on the right.  Stay right at the fork in the road. Just past the tennis courts on the right, turn right into Lot Z1/ Lot 1b.

From Adelphi Road

Turn onto Campus Drive, go past Presidential Drive, then turn left into Lot 1b before the roundabout intersection.  Drive through Lot 1b to reach Lot Z1.

 

From the College Park Metro Station

Take the Green Line to the University of Maryland/College Park Station / MARC Station.

Take the free UMD shuttle bus #104 to campus. Passengers may board on the east side of the Metrorail station, on the left as you exit the station.  Get off the UMD shuttle bus at the Regents Drive (main UMD shuttle bus stop) and walk across the street to Plant Sciences Building.  Below are pictures of the entrances to the Plant Sciences Building from the 2nd floor facing the Hornbake Library and form the ground floor facing the bus stop on Fieldhouse Dr.
